We’re on a mission to help sole traders, partnerships and limited companies deal with debt and stay solvent

5 August 2014

We recently launched 4Squared South West, a new business with our head office in Exeter. We offer debt advice and insolvency solutions to companies across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.  To coincide with the launch and new website, a free e-book is available – Practical steps you and your business can take to stay out of financial trouble

Although our 4Squared team specialises in helping all types of companies deal with debt and insolvency, we are on a mission to prevent such companies from getting into trouble in the first place.

Whilst working with individuals and sole traders to partnerships and limited companies, the 4Squared team has all too often witnessed people leaving it far too late to save their business; the result of not tackling financial challenges early enough and head on.

Our 4Squared Director, Paul Murphy, has his mind set on helping companies before they get into serious trouble. To coincide with our launch, we've developed a range of advice on our new website about Keeping it informal – via informal arrangements that can be simply made between debtors and creditors, which are designed to help struggling businesses continue to operate viably.

Paul Murphy explains: “By not seeking sound advice and taking action people are getting into serious trouble. Our core business at 4Squared is about supporting businesses and helping them to negotiate debt and insolvency. We are committed to helping businesses before they hit the rocks, providing vital support early on. That’s a clear part of our mission.

“The decision to seek advice and support is a difficult one to face, especially when you are facing serious problems and have no spare cash. However, our meetings are confidential, our advice is free and our fees will probably be less than you anticipate.”

“At 4Squared we’re fully committed to helping businesses early on, when informal arrangements can offer the best route,” says Paul Murphy. “Because although there’s talk of economic recovery, it remains an extremely difficult climate for many companies and they need all the help they can get when the times are tough.”

4Squared is run by Paul Murphy, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, registered under the Data Protection Act (license no. Z1403282) and is an authorised agent for The Revenue (HMRC). Paul works closely with an experienced and successful Insolvency Practitioner, who is part of the business’s extended team.
